Всем Привет, my name is Sonia! Since having concluded my language studies at the University of Valeri Brusov obtaining a ‘Linguistic and Teaching’’ qualification in 2016, I have been teaching Russian, both as a first and second language. Currently, I am continuing my studies at the University of Padua in the area of ‘’Languages, Literature and Cultural Mediation’’ for the Russian language where I am also responsible for managing several  language groups at Level A1-A2, as well as Level B1-B2. In addition, I am running a Business course in Russian and a general Russian language course whilst also being involved in the preparation of exams.

Over the years, I have worked on creating and applying an interactive approach to my teaching technique, and I have found that, in learning Russian, one can discover a most intriguing and particular language.  Perhaps you didn’t know, but Russian is, in fact, the seventh most spoken language in the world! In fact, in knowing Russian, one undoubtedly has a huge advantage in the world of work, especially for those who are studying international economics and business, and what’s more, it is a really interesting and fascinating language! You only have to look at its vast vocabulary to understand why Slavic poets created poetic masterpieces that have been recognised and appreciated all over the world.  Therefore, in studying this language, you will not only discover an incredibly exciting and fascinating culture, but also the language of poems and literature that will give you an even deeper and richer understanding of the western world.
