Arabic teacher
Salam! This is my way of introducing myself in traditional Arabic!
Salam! This is my way of introducing myself in traditional Arabic! I am Israa El mokhi from Marocco, though I have been living in Italy for some 12 years where I have gained a Master’s Degree in Teaching to Foreigners with a specialisation in Linguistics at the University for Foreigners in Perugia. At the moment, I am working as a Translator and Simultaneous Interpreter, as well as a Linguistic and Cultural Mediator in both the public and private sectors. In addition to this, I also give lessons of Arabic and Italian to foreigner students.
My teaching predominantly uses a communicative methodology geared towards practical learning, rather than based on only the use of memory. Therefore, I always make sure that my lessons are as interactive as possible, giving a real pro-active approach which enables the student to learn the language more quickly and efficiently, especially through up-to-date and original teaching aids, such as pictures, photos, images, songs and videos. Moreover, I also very much enjoy inspiring and stimulating my students’ interest even more in the language, hoping to stir a greater curiosity, by bringing various aspects of the Arabic culture to them during the lessons.
